Theater Arts Classes

Work hard. Play harder. Be your best.

Due to the Shelter-in-Place mandate, all PPP classes will be brought to you via the Zoom video conferencing software. For this online instruction, students will need a web cam and a microphone, as well as a quiet place, stable internet connection and various things easily found at home (class-specific items). Students will also need access to Google Drive files.

BROADWAY BOUND Theater Program

BROADWAY BELTERS
Discover the singer you were meant to be! Learn to use song as an extension of your actor’s toolkit in this exciting musical theater vocal-training class. Students learn to develop their voices as musical instruments through solo and choral singing, group vocal improvisation, warm-ups, exercises, and more. A brief showcase of selected songs will be performed on the final day of class for family and friends. These classes are perfect for students in a Broadway Shorties class and for those wishing to audition for a musical theater production.

BROADWAY SHORTIES
Love to perform? Join us as you develop a character, learn lines, sing, dance, and act in a mini-musical! No prior acting experience needed. In just one rehearsal per week, actors audition for roles, rehearse and perform in a condensed and parodic version of a musical. Students build confidence and develop important social skills though games and theater exercises. Broadway Shorties culminate in a family and friends showcase during the last half-hour of the final class.
